The power of RuleSafe's Enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance (E-GRC) framework has now come within reach of all small-to-medium sized organisations with the launch of RuleSafe SME.

For as little as $5 per user / per month , your organisation can benefit from RuleSafe's streamlined and automated approach to managing staff awareness and compliance across the enterprise - and beyond. 

 The complete functionality of RuleSafe Enterprise v4.0 is now available as a securely hosted Cloud Computing based service, aimed at smaller organisations of 50 to 500 employees needing a powerful but highly cost-effective solution for their in-house policies, awareness and risk management activities. As a web-delivered service, RuleSafe SME requires no additional hardware or software investment, and incurs no extra power, installation, or IT management overheads for organisations using the service. Monthly or annual subscription fees include online / phone support and regular service updates.

Being web-delivered, RuleSafe SME is accessible by users both inside and outside of an organisation. This makes it ideal for companies that employ remote or mobile workers, or need a solution that embraces third parties such as contractors or outsource providers who need to be aware of and comply with your organisations' policies and procedures in order to protect your business and customers. Owing to its simplicity in deployment, organisations can be up and running with policies, knowledge tests and compliance reports in hours.

RuleSafe SME also provides larger enterprises with the ability to mirror their internal RuleSafe infrastructure such that it can accessed by third parties and remote workers, or as a foundation for a fully resilient Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery platform which allows recovery tasks, plans and communications to continue unaffected in the event of unavailability of the organisation's main systems networks or premises. Although primarily aimed at SME's between 50 and 500 users, we are happy to discuss RuleSafe Cloud-based services and pricing for organisations of any size.

The service includes an automated provisioning module whereby employee's names, email addresses and organisational details can be uploaded via a spreadsheet template which automatically creates all the necessary user accounts and emails each user with instructions and a one-time passphrase to access the service for the first time. RuleSafe subsequently communicates with those users via automated SMTP emails and/or web channel updates to ensure they stay updated and reminded of important tasks, alerts and changes to policies etc. 

Your information and users details are protected using certificate-based SSL communications, full Microsoft database encryption and automated secure backup and recovery systems. Standard resilience delivers 99.5% service availability. Other resilience and custom shadowing/mirroring options are available on request, including dedicated and higher-speed hosting. By utilising the latest energy-efficient servers sited in low carbon datacentres and applying carbon offsets within our own operations, RuleSafe SME delivers the world's first truly carbon-neutral GRC suite.

RuleSafe SME only requires internet-connected Windows PCs with IE 6 or above to access the service. Users and administrators with Microsoft Office installed will additionally be able to generate Word or Excel-based documents and reports, while RuleSafe's integrated document management system allows standards, forms, presentations or other files to be uploaded and stored or linked to policies to create a 'joined-up governance' policy awareness and compliance management environment. RuleSafe also hosts, manages, and delivers multimedia files and eLearning material via its FLV streaming media player.
